The day began with same routine of counting my blessings and write 10 things I am grateful for and saying the magical word “THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU” after reading each of that.

Today on the 7th day there is a challenge we have. All of us are dealing some problem or the other and during this lock down the intensity of problem have emerged things were never like this before.

But when things were fine or may be good, how grateful we were about it as the book again and again says “whoever has gratitude will be given more and he/she will have an abundance. Whoever doesn’t have gratitude, even what she or he has will be taken from him”.

So today the book ask us to do two things one is removing the complaints, the negativity, so for today you are going to say positive things only and as we all know we tend to complain very soon the book has also given a solution for that so whenever you see yourself beginning to complain, stop yourself and say “but I am grateful for ___________” anything you can find to be grateful for. Second is to think about one of your problem and write positive things about that problem like in the example it say if you have lost your job you have to right 10 things you are grateful for 1. you get to spend more time with your family. 2. you are grateful for further job opportunities coming your way. 3. You are grateful for the salary you have been given till now.

And so on. It is a little more challenging if you don’t find any problem like in my case. But then if you start thinking in terms of problem then you find lot of problems, so choose one which you want to focus on.

Finish your day with taking magic rock in your hand and thinking about the best thing that happened today and say the magical word THANKYOU

Stay tuned for the next task. Do write to me if you are trying any of it.

I am grateful to Rhonda Byrne for this book. I don’t own the copy rights of the book.

  1. Dear Being Aware, this was so far the most difficult day for me. Resistance had been building as I dug, cajoled, levered and mined my old beliefs and behaviors from my life, but negativity was so firmly entrenched that I nearly gave up. The words of JP Sartre have been buzzing around in my head for weeks now: hell is other people. Sartre was half right, but he didn’t realize that the other people were all in his head; negative personas belonging to an older way of looking at the world that had been implanted from childhood. So, thank you! Out with the old, and in with the new!
