Anxiety has a lot to do with our thoughts and feelings about certain situations or things which might or might not be real, you may have been concerned about your new job, new college or school or any situation which new to you and you have some apprehension and fears about future.
Talking to someone can be one of the best way to deal with anxiety, talking helps in venting out overwhelming emotions. Talking about thoughts and feeling to someone can help you deal with difficult times when you feel troubled with something. Talking also help in finding out solutions which might help solving our worries.
If you are trying to talk to yourself then you may focus on using positive self talk. Some examples of positive self–talk: ‘I can do it. ‘ ‘I’m good enough. ‘ ‘If I want to, I can. ‘ ‘It doesn’t matter if I make a mistake.
Stay connected, stay happy, stay healthy.
Talking to oneself is quite effective..and not just for anxiety but for grief, stress too.

We are our own worst critics.. but I’ve learnt that a lot of my anxiety is about trying to be perfect, and trying to please everyone … but of course that is not possible … so now I sit back and tell myself that I’ve given the task my best shot, and really that is good enough…
And thank you for following my blog/website, I hope you enjoy my humble writings, and I’m from Geelong, Australia. Cheers. Ivor. 😀
